1. Use the designated booking system to reserve time slots in the Media Studio. Respect your allotted time and avoid overstaying.
2. Keep your work area tidy and organised. Dispose of trash properly and return equipment to its designated place after use.
3. Handle all equipment and tools with care to prevent damage. Report any malfunctioning equipment immediately.
4. For the safety of the equipment and the cleanliness of the studio, No Food or Drink are allowed inside the studio. Water bottles with secure caps are the only
exception.
5. Maintain a reasonable noise level. Respect your fellow students’ need for concentration and a quiet environment.
6. Collaborative projects are encouraged, but always seek permission from your fellow students before involving them in your work.
7. Treat all studio users with respect and kindness. Avoid disruptive behaviour, offensive language, or any form of harassment.
8. Priority is given to students with scheduled bookings. If you need to extend your session, check with the studio manager if the time slot is available.
9. Keep your personal belongings secure. The studio is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
10. Do not engage in any activities that violate copyright laws, distribute unauthorised content, or engage in any unethical behaviour.
11. If you encounter technical issues, ask for assistance from the studio manager. Do Not attempt to fix complex equipment on your own.
12. Report any accident, damages, or issues with the equipment immediately to the studio manager.
13. For safety reasons, all students must wear appropriate footwear while inside the Media Studio. Avoid going barefoot to prevent potential hazards or accidents.
14. The Media Studio is equipped with hoists, only authorised personnel are allowed to operate them. Proper training is required before using the hoists.
Unauthorised use of hoists is strictly prohibited for safety reasons.
15. Before leaving the studio, ensure all equipment is turned off, your work area is clean, and all personal items are collected.
16. Familiarise yourself with the studio’s emergency procedures.
